Judith “Judy” Lorraine Wilcox Goodhue, age 74, of Chapel Hill, TN, passed away on June 14, 2026. Born on October 20, 1951, in Worchester, MA, she was the daughter of the late William Lavah Wilcox and Phyllis Haywood Cook Wilcox. Judy is preceded in death by her siblings Carol Cormier and Phillip Wilcox.

Judy devoted her life to helping others by becoming a teacher for 22 years. She found great joy in being able to impact the lives of every student she came in contact with. She later retired to Chapel Hill, TN where she began farming and was raising 19 chickens on the farm. When not teaching or on the farm, she could be found playing Cribbage and being social. She also found joy in her dog Bentley and Lauren’s dog, Kona. Judy enjoyed being around her family, especially her husband and daughter. You could find them sharing a unique bond with one another and having care and compassion for each other. She was always willing to help however she was able to. Her love and commitment to her family will be missed.

Judy is survived by her husband of 50 years, William “Bill” Edward Goodhue of Chapel Hill, TN; a daughter, Lauren Goodhue of Bolivar, MS; and a brother, Bill Wilcox of Cloverdale, IN.

There will be no services at the present time.
