Judy Downes

Mrs. Judy Potts Downes, age 76, died Saturday, September 25, 2021 at her home in Belfast, Tennessee. Mrs. Downes was born in North Adams, Mass. and was a daughter of the late Edward Clyde and Emma Woodward Potts. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Pierce.

Mrs. Downes was a homemaker and retired accountant. She was a member of Grove Hill Church in Chapel Hill.

Mrs. Downes is survived by her husband of 25 years, Irish Downes, Belfast, TN; daughter, Leslie Gibbs Rogers, Belfast, TN; grandchildren, Matthew Pierce and Lauren Rogers; and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Downes will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at Grove Hill Church in Chapel Hill.
