June Upchurch

Mrs. June Upchurch, age 71, of the Rover Community of Bedford County, died Saturday, September 11, 2020 in Shelbyville, TN.

Mrs. Upchurch was born in Bedford County and was a daughter of the late William Otis and Jewel Elizabeth Beard King. She was of the Baptist faith, a homemaker, and was a retired certified nursing assistant in the health care profession. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Barrett and a brother, William Otis “Bubba” King, Jr.

Mrs. Upchurch is survived by her husband of 54 years, Tom Upchurch, Rover Community; children, Lisa (Joey) Savage, Quebeck, TN, Tammy Renee Upchurch and Tommy (Angie) Upchurch, Jr., both of the Rover Community; sisters, Connie (Joe) Hill, Chapel Hill, TN, Bonnie Cunningham, Rover Community, Wanda (Terry) Smitty, Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Eric Scott Howell, Thomas Edward Upchurch, III, Trenton Gary Upchurch, Anneston Savage; great grandchildren, Summer Rose Wolf and Khloe Howell.

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community with burial to follow in Cothran Cemetery.
