Kathy Pruitt Redmond

Kathy Redmond, age 63, of El Lago, Texas, passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of March 30, 2026. She is now forever reunited with the love of her life, Larry.Kathy was raised in Chapel Hill, Tennessee, where she met Larry. They married in November 1980 and soon started their family. Kathy was willing to follow her love wherever he led. Their love story is one that many can only dream of.

One of Kathy’s proudest accomplishments was earning her college degree at the age of 50. She majored in Social Work and had a true passion for helping others.Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wayne Redmond; her mother, Wanda Jane Pruitt; and her brother, Steven Ray Pruitt.

She will be forever missed by her children, Jessica Freesmeier (Kevin), Michael Redmond (Donny), and Ashley Swain (Derald); her grandchildren, Xander, Heartlee, Emma, Maddie, and Jonas; her father, Jesse Pruitt; her sisters, Susan Clark (Jimmy) and Carol Ann Thomas (Houston); as well as her nieces and nephews.

Arrangements will be made at a later date and will be private for her immediate family.
