Mr. Lee Roy Davis, age 81, of Unionville, Tennessee, died Thursday, March 17, 2022 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Mr. Davis was born in Bedford County and was a son of the late Jimmy Frank and Fannie Morenie Haynes Davis. In addition to his parents, Lee Roy was also preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Marie Haskins Davis, who died in January of 2020; sisters, Adelaide Haskins, Beatrice Davis; and brothers, James Davis, Jim Davis, Raymond Davis, John Davis and Albert Davis. He was retired from Sanford Corp. of Shelbyville, TN after 40 years working in the shipping department.

Mr. Davis is survived by his daughter, Wendy (Johnny) Davis, Unionville, TN; grandson, Allen Davis, Unionville, TN; sisters, Ruby Jett, Shelbyville, TN, Bell Trivitt, Shelbyville, TN; brother, Leon Davis, Shelbyville, TN.

Family members will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 21, 2022 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.

Michael Davis, Teddy Haskins, Joey Davis, Terry Adams, Larry McClenney, Derrek Davis and Case Davis will serve as pallbearers.
