Maggie Roberta Stem Taylor age 96, of Eagleville, Tennessee, passed away on May 13, 2026 in Franklin, TN. She was born on November 4, 1929, in Williamson County, TN to the late Robert Strickland Stem and Lera Josephine Wiley Stem. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Clifton Paul Taylor; siblings, Eunice White, Margaret Robinson, Alma Walton, Kathrine Davis, Gene Stem, Richard, Stem, Robert Stem, Hugh Stem, and Thomas Stem. Roberta was a member of Ash Hill Cumberland Presbyterian.

Roberta was a proud member of Ash Hill Cumberland Presbyterian where she was a pianist for 70 plus years. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to so many. She carried a true heart of love for anyone that knew her. She was better known as “Puddin” to all that knew her best.

Roberta is survived by her daughters, Paulette Taylor of Eagleville, TN and Annette (Roger) Cathey of the Ash Hill Community; a grandson, Joey (Katie) Taylor of Eagleville, TN; 1 great grandchild, Clifton Lane Taylor of Eagleville, TN; a brother, Charles Stem of Centerville, TN; sisters-in-law, Lynn Stem and Faye Goins as well as several nieces and nephews also survive.

There will be a visitation with the family on Monday May 18, 2026, at 4 PM until 8PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Tuesday May 19, 2026, morning from 10AM until the funeral hour. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 11AM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with burial to follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens at 12:30PM. Bro Steve Rogers will be officiating the services.
