Maria “ReRe” Harris, age 45, of Columbia, TN passed away July 30, 2026, in Columbia, TN. Maria was born May 13, 1981, to the late Charles Raymond Ozment Jr and Lisa Darlene Lovell Chapman who survives. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her 2 grandmothers, Sarah Lovell Ray and Dorothy Ann McCormack. She was a graduate of the Class of 1999 from Glencliff High School.

Maria loved her family dearly. She loved spending time with them and being active with her children. Maria was known to make you full from her cooking and smile with her ability to grow flowers. Her heart was big for her community and friends. She had a joy for being outdoors and taking in the scenes of nature. You could often find her on the river in a kayak, canoe, fishing, or being surrounded by animals. One of the many memories that will be remembered were her ability to cook banana pudding and grilled cheese. Later in life, she developed a love for butterflies and the color purple. She would often paint little pieces for her kids to keep and cherish. Maria had a true love for her family and friends and her impact will be missed for many generations to come.

Maria is survived by her mother and stepfather, Lisa (George) Chapman of Columbia, TN; her children, Aydian Wise of Murfreesboro, TN and his father, Gary Wise; children, Steven Harris Jr. and Amelia Harris of Columbia, TN, and their father, Steven Harris, Sr.; a sister, Wendy Fisher of Springfield, TN; aunts, Debbie Lovell of Columbia, TN and Teresa Denton of Senoia, GA; 2 nieces, Amber (Cullen) King and Whitney (Mitch) McDannald; a nephew Stephen (Lilly) Fisher; as well as several great nieces and nephews and many friends who will remember her.

A Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 10AM until 1PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be August 8, 2026, at 1PM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Pratt officiating. Burial to follow in Maury Memorial Gardens in Columbia, TN.

Pallbearers will be Michael Chapman, Tyler Chapman, Gary Wise, Steven Fisher, Ethan Harris, George Chapman, and Billy Jones will serve as active pallbearers.
