Mark Taylor

Mr. Mark Taylor, age 66, of Chapel Hill, TN died Sunday, February 22, 2026. Mark was born in East St. Louis, IL and was a son of the late Donald Taylor and Sheila Pflanz Taylor.

Mark was an executive in the television and digital marketing industries for over 30 years. As a teenager, he became an Illinois State Golf Champion and was later inducted into the Rockford Golf Hall of Fame in Rockford, IL. He also played in the 1970 U.S. Open, which was one of the highlights of his life.

Mark was well-loved and admired by his family, friends, and business associates. He most wanted to be remembered for doing everything he could for his family, whom he loved beyond words.

Mark is survived by his wife of 28 years, Michelle Taylor; 3 sons, Bryan (Vanessa) Taylor, Michael Taylor and Steven Taylor; a sister, Grace (Aaron) Segal; a brother, Scott (Lynn) Taylor; a granddaughter, Elliott.

A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held at a date to be determined.
