Mrs. Mary Emma Coble Scott, age 87, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Sunday evening, June 21, 2026 in Knoxville, TN. Mary Emma was born in Marshall County, TN to the late Riley Cecil Harrison, Sr. and Bertie Louise Blalock Harrison Luppens. She was retired from the State of Tennessee as a public health nurse and a member of Fountain City United Methodist Church. Mrs. Mary Emma was a graduate of St. Thomas School of Nursing where she studied from 1956-1959. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Wesley Lee Coble and Hubert T. Scott, and siblings, Cecil Harrison, Jr., Louise Williams, George “Tommy” Harrison, Lee Harrison, Marie Pace, Hettie McKinney, Joan Perry, James R. Harrison, and Johnny Haywood.

Mrs. Mary Emma was a very kind and compassionate lady. She enjoyed bird watching and beautiful flowers. She truly appreciated her visits with friends. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.

Mrs. Scott is survived by her loving son & daughter in law, Russ & Lisa Coble of Knoxville, TN; granddaughter, Alea Coble of Chattanooga, TN; grandson, Wesley Coble of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Paulette Eddy of FL, and Betty Wright of FL.

Visitation with the family will be from 10 AM until 12 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 12 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2026 in the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.
