Mrs. Mavis Marie Aldridge, age 80, of Spring Hill, TN, died Friday, September 23, 2016. A native of Franklin, TN, Mrs. Aldridge was a daughter of the late Ollie Ford and Gertrude Plemmons Ford. She was a homemaker and attended Bethesda Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Aldridge was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Aldridge; 5 sisters, Sadie Wilkerson, Mae Harris, Martha Loggins, Margaret Welch and Ruth Veach; 3 brothers, Russell Ford, James Ford and Leonard Ford.
Survived by a son, Pete (Terri) Aldridge of Spring Hill, TN; 3 sisters, Louisa Pitman of Coachella, CA, Dorothy Jones of Lavergne, TN, Naomi Regensburg of Nashville, TN; 4 sister-in-laws, Anita (Paul) McPeak of College Grove,TN, Teresa Ford of College Grove, Sue Cleveland of Columbia, TN, and Elizabeth Ford of Franklin, TN; a brother-in-law, Albert “PeeWee” Aldridge of College Grove; 2 grandchildren, Chase and Autumn Aldridge.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 4PM – 8PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be conducted at Harris Cemetery in Marshall Co. at 1PM on Monday, September 26, 2016. Honorary Pallbearers are Bree Lovell-Marlin and Peaches Norris. Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
