In Loving Memory of Monika “Lisa” Less (Age 64)
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lisa Less, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend whose love, laughter, and adventurous spirit touched countless lives. She was born in Braintree, Massachusetts, on June 21, 1962, and was a longtime resident of Lewisburg, Tennessee. Lisa died peacefully at home after a brief battle with cancer.
Lisa was the cherished daughter of Fred Less and Brigitte Less. She was a devoted sister to Freddy Less and his wife, Christine; Lorry Bruno; Richard Bruno; and Peter Less. Throughout her life, Lisa shared a special bond with her family and friends, always making time for the people she loved most.
Known for her quirky sense of humor, fierce independence, and adventurous spirit, Lisa lived life on her own terms. She brought laughter wherever she went and had a unique ability to make even ordinary moments memorable. Her strength, resilience, and determination inspired those around her, and her loving heart made everyone feel welcome and valued.
Lisa held wonderful memories of the years she spent working alongside her family at Montilio's Bakery in Braintree, Massachusetts. She was an avid crafter, creator, indoor plant enthusiast, cook, and baker. She especially enjoyed her church's monthly Heavenly Handcrafters gathering, hosted by her dear friend, Pat Dodd.
Lisa leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory, including her nephew, Peter Less, and his fiancée, Jenna, as well as her many nieces and nephews: Stevie Bruno and family, Rachel Bruno, Joseph Bruno and his fiancée, Paige Titus, Brittany Rinkowski and her husband, Paul, and Karl Less and his wife, Ruby.
She was a proud and loving great-aunt to Paulie Jr., Shelby Rae, and Ella Grace. Lisa also held a special place in her heart for all the children in her extended family, including Jennifer Cox, her husband Jeremy, and their daughters, Katherine and Heather. She was also especially close to her dear friend, Jennifer Luster, who was a significant part of Lisa's life.
One of Lisa's favorite traditions was her annual girls' trip with Jennifer, Jennifer, Katherine, and Heather, where they shared great food, laughter, and relaxation. Her favorite place to be was at the beach, sitting by the ocean and enjoying its peaceful beauty.
Lisa attended the Church of Christ at Millview in Franklin, Tennessee. Her beloved dogs, Doobie and Bluey, brought her immense joy and comfort, faithfully sleeping by her side through both health and illness.
As we remember Lisa, we also honor the memory of her beloved great-niece, Stella Rose, who passed before her. We find comfort in imagining their joyful reunion and the love they now share together.
While our hearts are broken by her loss, we are grateful for the many memories she leaves behind. Her laughter, stories, strength, and unwavering love for family and friends will continue to live on in all who knew her.
Lisa's presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy is one of love, independence, adventure, and a reminder to embrace life with courage, humor, and an open heart.
Forever loved, forever remembered.
