Mrs. Olene Helton Williams, age 87, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Thursday, April 4, 2013 in Lewisburg.  Mrs. Williams was born in Bedford County and was a daughter of the late Ernest Dennison and Violet Leona Clay Helton.  She was a retired nurse, working at the former Gordon’s Hospital and the clinic of Dr. Von Almen. Mrs. Williams was a member of Farmington Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Eugene Williams, who died in 2006, two sisters, Frances Helton Bowden and Helen White, and a brother, Roland Helton.

Mrs. Williams is survived by a daughter, Judi (Bill) Williams Bell, Gallatin, TN; son, Gene (Carolyn) Williams, Lewisburg, TN; brother, Edd Helton, Antioch, TN; two grandchildren, Clint Williams and Jarratt Bell; two great grandchildren, Madeline and Abigail.

Family members will receive friends on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Farmington Baptist Church, 2777 Nashville Hwy., Lewisburg, Tennessee.  Visitation will also be on Saturday from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Church.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Farmington Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Gray officiating.  Burial will follow in Hopper Cemetery in the Laws Hill Community of Marshall County.

The family of Mrs. Williams wish to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff of NHC-Lewisburg for the love and care they have shown.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Farmington Baptist Church, 2777 Nashville Hwy., Lewisburg, TN 37091 in memory of Mrs. Olene Williams.
