Patricia "Pat" Ann York

Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Ann Wester York, age 93, of Chapel Hill, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 21, 2025. Pat was born April, 29 1932 in Plainview, TX to the late Iva Marion Wester and Faye Ethelene Brooks Wester. Sam was a member of Bethel World Outreach Center in Brentwood, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Karen Denise Boyd and a special cousin, Betty Brooks.

Mrs. Pat loved her family deeply. She had a special love for her husband, Kile York Jr. whom she adored. She was a believer in Christ. Pat enjoyed hosting the Women’s Bible Study Group. She was known to many as the “Supreme Card Giver.” Mrs. Pat was an accomplished tent maker, chef, and family humor originator. She was known to be the keeper of family history and antiquities.

Mrs. Pat is survived by her husband of 72 years, Kile York Jr. of Chapel Hill, TN; children, Dwain Lee (Teresa) York of Wimberly, TX, and Kevin Wade (Renee) York of Chapel Hill, TN; six grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

The family will gather to celebrate her life on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 9:30AM with family sharing stories and fond memories. She will be laid to rest at Swanson Cemetery immediately following the service.
