Paul Rodgers

Mr. Paul Rodgers, age 70, of Chapel Hill, TN passed away December 23, 2023 in Lewisburg, TN.   Paul was born in Lewisburg, TN, and was a son of the late Frank Rodgers and Mildred Ruth Chilton Rodgers.  He was retired from AVCO/Textron Corporation after 40 years of service and was a member of the Baptist faith.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Pauline Rodgers, Martha Rodgers, and brothers, James Edward “Buster” Rodgers, William Franklin Rodgers, and Larry Eugene Rodgers.

Paul enjoyed making everyone smile and telling jokes.  He had a passion for farming and raising cattle.   His favorite thing was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren!

Mr. Rodgers is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Beckie Perryman Rodgers of Chapel Hill, TN; daughter, Cassie (Jason) Farmer of Chapel Hill, TN; two grandchildren, Ivy Star Rodgers, Roman Lucas Farmer; sisters, Helen Hardison of Lewisburg, TN, and Katy Luna of Lewisburg, TN.

Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, 2200 Children’s Way, Nashville, TN 37232.
