Mr. Rickey Glen Leverette, age 69, of Manchester, TN formerly of Chapel Hill, TN left on his heavenly journey, Friday, November 7, 2025 at St.Thomas – Midtown Hospital after 6 months of long battles with surgeries and health issues. Rickey was a son of the late Robert Clerey Leverette and Lucille King Leverette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rusty Leverette.
Rickey was an owner operator and OTR truck driver for 30+ years for 2 million miles travelled.
His CB Handle while travelling was the Bionic Rooster. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially farming and being on his tractor in the hay field every season and also enjoyed small engine repairs. He was a character and “cut-up” and always had a smile making others laugh but he could also be stern. He also loved old Western movies and Jackie Chan movies.
Survived by his wife of 34 years, Pam Leverette; 4 daughters, Misty (Arthur) Stephens, Sonya Leverette, Natalie (Chris) Nunley and Nicole (Jeff) Norman; a son, Mike Bell; 7 grandchildren, Lindsey and Tyler Stephens, Kelly Freeman, Harrison and Hollis Norman, Maddox and Emerson McBee.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 12, 2024 from 10 AM – 1PM at Lawrence Funeral Home followed by the Funeral Service at 1PM. Burial will follow at Cothran Cemetery in Bedford Co..
