Ricky Sanford Williams

Ricky Sanford Williams, age 64, of College Grove, TN, passed away on Saturday August 30, 2025. Ricky was born and raised in Williamson County to the late David Sanford Williams and Josephine Harper Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Williams.

Ricky was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed being around water and nature. You would often find him relaxing next the water with a fishing pole and sitting in his chair. Ricky also had a special love for hunting. When his grandchildren arrived, he always grew a big smile. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Ricky enjoyed sports of all kinds.

Mr. Ricky is survived by his daughter, Ashley Dawn Williams of Fairview, TN; son, Jacob Tyler Williams of Gallatin, TN; 6 grandchildren, Lilly, Zacharia, Jocee, Bailey, Cohen, and Kaiyah; brother, Randy Williams of Chapel Hill, TN; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
