Robert "Bob" Van Cleave Kerr, 85, of Lewisburg, TN, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026 surrounded by family and loved ones. Bob was born on April 1, 1941 (4-1-41), to Charles Fletcher Kerr and Jane Van Cleave Kerr in Chapel Hill, TN.

Bob held many titles throughout his life; Dad, Coach, Gramps, Brother and Friend, to name a few. He knew somebody everywhere he went and made lifelong connections with countless people in every phase of his life. Anyone fortunate enough to be in his life, knows their world is better for it. Bob was simply a good guy.

He is survived by his sons, Chip (Kristi) Kerr and David (Anne Marie) Kerr; his sister, Beth (Johnny) Chunn; his grandchildren, Chase Kerr, Tyler Kerr, Ryan Kerr and Madeline Kerr; as well as many nieces and nephews and cousins.

The Family would like to thank the amazing staff at Village Manor Assisted Living in Lewisburg and Gentiva Hospice for their incredible love, care, and compassion.

Visitation and service will be held on Friday, September 4 at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, TN. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with the service beginning at 1:00 PM and graveside burial to follow.

Pallbearers will be Chase Kerr, Tyler Kerr, Ryan Kerr, Madeline Kerr, John Chunn, Jon Ball, and Thomas Beech.
