Mr. Robert Edward “Bob” Wilson, age 96, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Saturday, July 7, 2018 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Wilson was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was a son of the late Sue McElhaney and Robert Edward Wilson, Sr. He served his country in the United State Navy during World War II and was a retired mechanic.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his brother, Bruce Tyner McElhaney, Spring Lake, MI; nephew, Robert Charles McElhaney; nieces, Katelyn Marie McElhaney and Susan Rebecca McElhaney; numerous cousins.
Family members will receive friends on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside services, with military honors, will be conducted on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 10:00 am at Reed-Walker Cemetery near Chapel Hill. Burial will immediately follow.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
