Robin "Rooster" Richardson

Mr. Robin “Rooster” Richardson, age 63, of the Caney Spring community, died Saturday, June 21, 2025. Born in Lewisburg, TN, Rooster was a son of the late J.B. Richardson and Ernestine Lee Moore Richardson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dale “Big Bird” Richardson; his mother-in-law, Wanda Jane Pruitt.

Rooster was employed by Yates PSW where he was a Rebuild leader. He loved spending time with his family and especially watching his grandchildren in all of their activities. Rooster always made a point of letting people know that he was from the Caney Spring community. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Survived by his children, LeAnne (Lindsey) Cook of Chapel Hill, TN, Cody (Randi) Richardson of Chapel Hill and Pruitt (L.K.) Richardson of Bartlett, TN; a brother, Nathan Richardson of the Caney Spring Community; 6 grandchildren, Henson, Colton, Brayson and Lawson Cook and Ellie and Carter Richardson; also survived by Carol (Houston) Thomas of Bartlett, TN and Jessie Pruitt of Bartlett, TN.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 7pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be from 4PM – 7PM Wednesday. A private burial will be at a later date.
