Rosemary Priester Bomar, 87, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025. Born on September 28, 1938, in Meridian MS, Rosemary was the daughter of the late James Cluis Priester and Mary Earl Rainer Priester.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Col. Julian Clyde Bomar, her eldest daughter Julianne Bomar Elder, and her two brothers Bill and Alan Priester.
Rosemary was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an ordained minister, intercessor and fierce prayer warrior who prayed constantly for her country, friends and family.
Rosemary is survived by her two daughters; Janna Suzanne Woods (Jim) and Jennifer Jolynne Logan (Patrick); five grandchildren: Christoper Julian Mashburn, Lauren Ashley Elder Wisniewski (Nick), Jessica Langston Hibler Wilson (Clay), Zachary Mark Elder (Hannah) and James Douglas Woods IV (Abbey), and twelve great grandchildren: Ava, Parker, Lucy, Pearson, Elliot, Dylan Rose, Andi, Robbie, Maddox, Asher, Remington and Jonah.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Rosemary at 1:00 pm, on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Sassafras Farm – 2855 Unionville Road, Chapel Hill TN 37034
