Samuel Dale O'Neal

Mr. Samuel Dale O’Neal, age 77, of Columbia, TN, died Monday, January 19, 2026 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Born in Nashville, TN, Mr. O’Neal was a son of the late Lawrence Johnnie O’Neal and LLyyowene Derryberry O’Neal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Cassidy O’Neal Maddox.

Mr. O’Neal was retired as a construction superintendant. He enjoyed horses, motorcycles, working on cars with his brother. He especially enjoyed Margaritas and eating at Arturo’s. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Daisy O’Neal; 2 sisters, Malah Tidwell and Wanda Bumpus; his brother, Gary O’Neal; 2 great-grandchildren, Alice Rose Dismore and Jeremiah Lomerson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled by the family at a later date.
