Saundra Bernice Bryant, age 64, of Ardmore, Tennessee, formerly of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in Ardmore. Saundra was born in Nashville, Tennessee and was a former hospital dietician. She was of the Baptist Faith. Ms. Bryant was preceded in death by her father, Payton Montgomery Overton, and a son, Timothy Bryant.
Saundra is survived by her mother, Nora Glenn Gilbert, Chapel Hill, TN; sons, Jackie Allen, Chapel Hill, TN, Clayton Allen, Ardmore, AL; sisters, Gayle McAfee, Nashville, TN, Janie Elkins, Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Jackay Medley, Ashley Allen, Kimberly Allen, all of Ardmore, TN, Kendall Bailey, Athens, AL, Lydia Allen, Nathaniel Allen, Ardmore, AL, Michael Bryant, Brady Bryant, Eliza Bryant, all of Ardmore, TN; great grandchildren, Jayden Medley, Jacob Medley, Alisha Kent and Kieran O’Reilly.
A Celebration of Life service for Saundra will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Kelly’s Creek Baptist Church in Ardmore with Clayton Allen officiating. Family members will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the church. .
