Sara Robinson

Mrs. Sara Ruth Puckett Robinson, age 93, of the Wheel Community of Bedford County, died Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Mrs. Robinson was born in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Edgar James and Florence Ethel Redmond Puckett. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and was retired from the former Faber-Castell Corporation of Lewisburg.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Howard Robinson, who died in 2013; son, Bobby Robinson; sisters, Susie Mai Mills, Elnora Tripp and Mary Elizabeth Puckett; brothers, Charles Puckett and James “Bud” Puckett.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her grandsons, Matthew Robinson, Tullahoma, TN, Aaron Robinson, Wartrace, TN; brother, Tom (Nancy) Puckett, Unionville, TN; sister, Betty Jo Carney, Nashville, TN; nephews, Charlie Underwood, Larry Rochelle, Ricky Ray Rochelle, Leslie Carney, Michael Puckett; niece, Jessica Carney.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in the Mt. Pleasant Community of Rutherford County. Burial will immediately follow services. There will be no visitation prior to services.
