Sharon Lorriane Foss

Mrs. Sharon Lorraine Foss, age 81, of Columbia, TN, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Flint, MI and a daughter of the late Louis Martin Diener and Evelyn Wilma Baker Diener. Mrs. Foss was retired from General Motors Corportation where she worked in production and she was a member of the Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Louis Diener, Frances Diener, and sisters, Linda Diener and Elaine Diener.

Mrs. Sharon loved cooking for her family and preparing all her special recipes. She truly enjoyed the holidays and family gatherings. Her great pleasure was spoiling her great granddaughter and her dogs. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.  

Mrs.Foss is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Mr. Robert Foss of Columbia, TN; children, Garner Dean Foss of Columbia, TN, Renee Marie Foss of Lawrenceburg, TN; granddaughter, Megan (Tyler) Stokes of Chapel Hill, TN; great granddaughter, Mikaela Stokes of Chapel Hill, TN.  

The family will have a private Celebration of Life in the near future.
