Sherrylynne "Nana" Smith

Mrs. Sherrylynne “Nana” Smith, age 72, of Rockvale, Tennessee, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee. Mrs. Smith was born in Rutherford County and was a homemaker. She had retired from Rich Products, Inc. of Murfreesboro after 35 years of service. Mrs. Smith was a member of Crescent Baptist Church in Christiana, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyte Austin Smith, a son, Danny Ray Smith and her father, Leonard Prosnick.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her mother, Alene Clifton, Rockvale, TN; son, Randy Smith, Rockvale, TN; grandchildren, Deborah Smith, Rockvale, TN, Kalie Garrett, Unionville, TN, Stevie Smith, Murfreesboro, TN; great grandchildren, Michelle Smith and Michael Smith, both of Rockvale, TN, Gavin Garrett, Unionville, TN; sister, Penelope Clifton, Nashville, TN; brother, Gene Clifton, Jr., Omaha, NE; cousins, Vivian Spencer and Norma Johnsey, Rockvale, TN, Ellie Wilkinson, Eagleville, TN.

Family members will receive friends on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Crosslin officiating. Burial will follow in Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.
