Sylvia Ring

Mrs. Sylvia Ring, age 76, of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Chapel Hill, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at her residence.  She was born in Columbia, TN and was a daughter of Burford Washington Brown and Mildred Nadine Norman Brown.  Mrs. Sylvia was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.  She was a member of the Class of 1965 at Forrest High School in Chapel Hill.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. “Tommy” Ring in 2011, and her brothers, Ralph Brown and Don Brown. 

Mrs. Sylvia enjoyed reading books and watching television, especially the weather.  She loved her special cat, Sweetie, and truly enjoyed her family time.

Mrs. Ring is survived by her children, Thomas Keith (Darlene) Ring of Laws Hill Community, Shannon (Gary) Warren of Manchester, TN; 5 grandchildren, Maegan Eubanks, Thomas H. Ring, Madalyn Holder, Mackenzie Holder, Josh Warren; 3 great grandchildren, Thomas W. Ring, Henry Ring, and Mason Eubanks.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 10:30 AM until 11 AM at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.  Graveside services will be conducted at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Swanson Cemetery.  Interment will follow there.
