Mr. Troy Turner, Sr., age 42, of Lewisburg, TN, died Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Lewisburg, TN. Troy was born in Rutherford County, TN and a son of Jerry and Vicky Turner from Lewisburg, TN. He was a Veteran of the Unites States Army and served in combat in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Bosnia with 8 years of service. Troy worked for Metropolitan Nashville Government as a heavy equipment technician for 12 years.
In addition to his parents, Troy is survived by his wife, April Turner of Lewisburg, TN; children, Charlotte Reid Turner of Lewisburg, TN, Audrey Camille Turner of Lewisburg, TN, and Troy Turner, Jr. of Lewisburg, TN; sisters, Melissa Turner (Thomas) King of Nolensville, TN and Tanya Turner (Justin) Sawicki of Germany; nieces and nephews, Lance, Adam, Hope, Brady, Taylor, Nynah, Abram, Alexander, Katelynn, Andrew, Kassidy, Kody, and Kylie.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 10 AM- 1 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating. Interment will follow at Carlton Cemetery near Rockvale, TN.
