Wade Hargrove

Mr. Wade Hargrove, age 50, of Unionville, TN, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026. He was born in Shelbyville, TN to the late Larry Thomas Hargrove, Sr. and Joan Elizabeth Leverette Hargrove, who survives. Wade worked as an automotive mechanic and was handyman. He was of the Christian faith and a graduate of Community High School Class of 1994 in Unionville, TN.

Wade loved working on and repairing things of all nature. He was creative with woodworking and building things. He had a heart for helping others and fixing things. He loved Clint Eastwood movies and listening to George Jones music. Wade never got in a hurry for anything! He was faith oriented and shared his love for God with his friends and family. Most of all, he loved his family, especially grandchildren, spending time with them and participating in their activities!

Mr. Hargrove is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Lorie Hargrove of Unionville, TN; children, Hunter (Kendall) Tharp of Unionville, TN, Colton Hargrove of Unionville, TN, Christian Tipton of Unionville, TN, Hannah Tipton of Unionville, TN; grandchildren, Oakley, Sadie Rose, Emma, Blake; mother, Joan Hargrove of Unionville, TN; sister, Rona Hargrove Cooper of Unionville, TN; brother, Tommy Hargrove of Unionville, TN; and extended family, Stephanie Cohoon, Verina (Toots) Cohoon, Savannah Cohoon, Amyri Griffin.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday, July 31, 2026 from 11 AM until 1 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Clancy Burk officiating. Burial will follow in the Simpson Cemetery in Unionville, TN.

Active pallbearers will be Hunter Tharp, Colton Hargrove, Christian Tipton, Ashley West, Torie Smith, and John Dunaway.
