Wanda Hartley

Mrs. Wanda Hartley, age 74, of College Grove, Tennessee, died Monday, October 17, 2022 in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Mrs. Hartley was born in Coffee County, Tennessee and was a daughter of the late Ostell Benton and Winona Harmon Peoples. She was a graduate of the Class of 1967 from Shelbyville High School, Shelbyville, Tennessee and was a homemaker. Mrs. Hartley served for a period of time in the United States Marine Corp. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Hartley, who died in 2012; a sister, Nancy Dianne Peoples, and a brother, Ostell Carl Peoples.

Mrs. Hartley is survived by her children, Sally Ann Cunningham, College Grove, TN, Adam Hartley, Lynnville, TN; brothers, James Clyde Peoples, Shelbyville, TN, Thomas Dwayne Peoples, Bell Buckle, TN, grandchildren, Cody William Cunningham, Murfreesboro, TN, Justin Hartley, Lewisburg, TN, Hannah Hartley, Lynnville, TN; sisters-in-law, Lizzie Mae Peoples and Barbara Jean Peoples, both of Shelbyville, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Family members will receive friends on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Memorial services for Mrs. Hartley will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Larry Giles officiating.
