W J Stooksberry

Mr. W J “Cobb” Stooksberry, age 74, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Sunday, February 25, 2018.  He was born in Collinwood, TN, and was a son of the late Osbie Lee “Cobb” Stooksberry and Amelia Pauline Butler Stooksberry.  Mr. Stooksberry was a member of the Baptist faith and was retired from construction work as an electrician.

Mr. Stooksberry is survived by his wife, Carolyn D. Stooksberry of Chapel Hill, TN; sons, Steven E. (Angie) Stooksberry of Chapel Hill, TN, Michael J. (Carol) Stooksberry of Collinwood, TN, Andrew Blake Stooksberry of Shelbyville, TN; daughters, Angela Renee (Marc) Brewer of Collinwood, TN, Kimberly Dawn (Mike) Price of Leoma, TN; siblings, Frances Butler, Jo Ayers, Ruth Pigg, Janie Huskey, David Stooksberry, Dorothy Franks, Shirley Crews, and Elaine Lynn; 9 grandchildren.

Family members will receive friends on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 10 AM until 1 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 1 PM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Danny Huckaba officiating.  Interment will follow in the Smotherman Cemetery in the Midland Community.
