Allen Harper

Mr. Allen Lee Harper, age 70, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Sunday, July 18, 2021. Born in Aurora, IL, he was the son of the late John William Harper and Hazel Annie VanDuser. Mr. Harper was a veteran of the United State Army and served in Vietnam where he was awarded the Purple Heart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Ann Zenos Harper.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Rachel Veronneau of St. Albans, VT, Teresa Smith of Chapel Hill, TN; a son, Gregory Harper of Old Hickory, TN; a sister, Pauline Invergo of Phoenix, AZ; and 7 grandchildren.

Mr. Harper’s inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.
