Edwin Martin

Mr. Edwin O. Martin, age 91, of Rockvale, TN, died Monday, July 5, 2021. Born in Putnam Co., TN, Mr. Martin was a son of the late Collie Omage Martin and  Bertie Elrod Martin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korean War era. Mr. Martin was a retired plant manager for International Paper Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Constance Diana Lawson Martin; a sister, Maureen Marcus; 2 brothers, Vernon and Omage Martin; step-mother, Odell Martin;  2 grandchilden, Emily Williams and Rebecca Paison; son-in-law, Wayne Dunham.

Suvived by 4 daughters, Deborah (Wayne) Dunham of Shelbyville, TN, Judith (Donald) Williams of Murfreesboro, TN, Diana (Chuck)  Paison of Murfreesboro, TN, Kathleen Martin of Rockvale, TN; a sister, Irene Deem of Sparta, TN; 5 grandchildren, Steven Dunham, Amanda Dye, Jennifer Buttrey, Victoria Burdick and Robert Paison; 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be from 1pm – 2pm, Friday, July 9,2021, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation at 2pm on Friday. Burial will follow at Cothran Cemetery in Bedford Co.
