Evelyn Skinner

Mrs. Evelyn Bell Skinner, age 84, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Saturday, February 29, 2020, peacefully at her home. Born in Onslow County, NC on May 26, 1935, she was the fifth daughter of Ed and Mary Bell. She worked as an LPN and as a housewife. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Lillian Provost of Hubert NC and Leola Rochelle of Sneads Ferry, NC. Also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Adam Panos.

Survived by her husband of 68 years, Elmer Skinner of Chapel Hill, TN; 3 daughters, Vicki Smithson of Franklin, TN, Mary (Glenn) Crowell of Rock Island, TN, June Panos of Chapel Hill, TN; 9 grandchildren, Tracy (Cynthia) Bolton, Brad (Melissa) Smithson, Mandy (Dave) Holton, Brett (Pam) Smithson, Jeremy (Andrea) Bolton, Matt (Morgan) Reed, Mason Panos, Matt (Kristen) Crowell and Zach (Courtney) Crowell; 13 great-grandchildren, Carson Holton, Brooke Smithson, Noah Smithson, Nate Smithson, Luke Holton, Brynn Smithson, Beckett Smithson, Maddox Bolton, Eli Bolton, James Swallow, Miller Crowell, Grey Crowell and Sam Crowell. Also survived by two sisters, Louise Riggs and Dixie Morton, both of Hubert, NC.
