George Haynes Iii

Mr. George Holbert “Big George” Haynes III, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021. Born in Nashville, TN, Mr. Haynes was the son of the late George Holbert Hanes II and Elizabeth Orme Raulston Haynes. He was a retired truck driver for Krogers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, George Holbert Haynes IV who died earlier this year.

Survivors are a son, Jamie Haynes of the Caney Spring community; a grandson, Jeffery Haynes of the Caney Spring community; a sister, Connie (Milo) Ferrin of North Carolina.

The family will receive friends, Monday, Dec. 27, 2021 from 11am – 2pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation, Monday, at 2pm from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery in the Caney Spring community.

In Lieu of flowers please make donations towards the funeral expenses of Mr. Haynes.
