John Perrell

December 19, 1933 ~ September 7, 2020 (age 86)


Mr. John “Johnny Boy” Perrell, age 86, of the Triune Community in Williamson County, TN died on Monday, September 7, 2020 at his residence.  He was born in Williamson County, TN to the late Joseph Roscoe and Mary Sue Maupin Perrell.  He was retired from Radiation Protection Products where he worked as a plant manager.  Mr. Perrell was a member of Eagleville Baptist Church.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Shriners, and he supported the Williamson County 4-H Club.   Mr. John proudly served our country in the United States Army and always loved his mules.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, George Perrell, Whack Perrell; sisters, Mary Frances “Doll” Lorance, Shirley Crick, and Bessie Lee Mosley.   

Mr. Perrell is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Thalia Byrd Perrell of Triune Community; daughter, Geri (William) Fields of Charlotte, TN; son, Brian (Angela) Haley of Triune Community; 4 grandchildren, Becky and Chris Cunningham, Tyler and Wyatt Haley; 3 great grandchildren, Courtney, Kyle, and Corey Cunningham; 1 great great grandchild, Lemon Stewart; 4 sisters, Margaret Ryan of Eagleville, TN, Anita Hargrove of Eagleville, TN, Jane Shelton of Eagleville, TN, and Polly Riggins of Lebanon, TN.

Visitation with the family will be from 9 AM until 10 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Triune Cemetery. The graveside service will be at 10 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Triune Cemetery, 7906 Nolensville Road, Arrington, TN, with Bro. Ronnie Grooms officiating.  Interment will follow.

Memorial donations may be made to Eagleville Baptist Church, 159 Church Street, Eagleville, TN 37060.
