Juanita June Douglas

Mrs. Juanita June Graves Douglas, age 58, of Unionville, Tennessee, died Sunday, April 19, 2020 in Shelbyville, TN. Mrs. Douglas was born in Giles County and was a daughter of the late Cobb and Barbara Ann Newton Wright. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ellis Poplin “Jack” Douglas, who died in October of 2017; grandparents, Wallace and Ruby Newton and special cousin, Larry Shelton.

Juanita was a homemaker and a member of Amazing Grace Church in Unionville, Tennessee.

Mrs. Douglas is survived by a step-daughter, Dana Ingram, Chapel Hill, TN; sister, Kathy Pugh, Shelbyville, TN; brother, Johnny Wright, Shelbyville, TN; aunt, Eloise (Roy) Griggs, Pulaski, TN; two step-grandchildren, Joseph and Jacob Ingram, Chapel Hill, TN; nephews, Douglas Wayne Pugh and Justin Wright; niece, Brandi Nichols; several cousins.

In light of the Coronavirus health crisis, there will be no visitation and a private family graveside service with Bro. Mike Hannah officiating, will be held with burial to follow in Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.
