Michael Anderson

Mr. Michael Anderson, age 67, died Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at his home in Chapel Hill, Tennessee. Mr. Anderson was born in Maury County and was preceded in death by his father, Robert Benton “Cotton” Anderson, and a brother, Barry Anderson.

Mr. Anderson served his Country in the United States Army and was a former construction foreman for Civil Engineering Company of Frankin, Tennessee. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his mother, Ella Pearl Clark Anderson, Columbia, TN; fiancée, Mary Wells Young, Chapel Hill, TN; sons, Michael (Nikki) Anderson, Jr., Spring Hill, TN, Justin Robert Anderson, Columbia, TN; step-daughters, Ayla Marie Young, Chapel Hill, TN, Kara Young (Cody) Clark, Chapel Hill, TN; brother, Clark Anderson, Unionville, TN; grandchildren, Mason Anderson, Jackson Anderson, Anna Ryan Anderson, Jordan Anderson, Chloe Anderson, Jonathan Anderson, Tristan Turner, Summer Allen, Mary Ellen Scott, Johnse Scott, Hazyl Clark; niece, Stephanie Gathright.

Family members will receive friends, on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am on Monday, November 29, 2021 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Swango officiating. Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.

Jerry Frost, Randy Green, Mike Thurman, Billy Capps, Ronnie Pigg, Richard Cox, and Lance Smith will serve as active pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Churchwell, Jose Martinez, Tommy Wayne Anderson, and Steve Anderson.
