Patty Burke

Mrs. Patty Pate Burke, age 79, died Thursday, November 11, 2021 at her home near College Grove, Tennessee. Mrs. Burke was born in Rutherford County, Tennessee and was a daughter of the late Ralph and Sara White Pate. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Sam Edwin Burke, who died in 1998.

Patty was a graduate of College Grove High School, Class of 1960, and was an accounting office manager, having worked over 20 years for Washington Manufacturing Co. and later retired from Quimet Corp., both in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Burke was very active in the Red Hat Hatters and was a member of Triune United Methodist Church in Triune, Tennessee.

Mrs. Burke is survived by her son, Shannon (Laura) Burke, College Grove, TN; sister, Barbara Pate Ivery, Triune, TN; grandchildren, Scott (Maddy) Burke, Elizabeth (Zach) Cartwright, Emily (Matthew) Tracy; great grandchildren, Daniel Cartwright, Liam Cartwright, Charlotte Burke.

Family members will receive friends on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service for Patty will follow at 6:00 p.m. with family and friends remembering her.
