Yvonne Faulkenberry

Mrs. Yvonne Faulkenberry, age 85, of Shelbyville, TN, formerly of Chapel Hill, TN, died on Monday, August 3, 2020 at her residence.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and was a daughter of the late Emery Lopp and Cleo Orton Lopp.  Mrs. Faulkenberry was retired from the United States Army Corps of Engineers as a contract specialist.  She was a member of Living Stones Community Church.  Mrs. Yvonne was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved traveling, John Wayne, bird watching, animals, and sewing.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. “Bill” Faulkenberry, and a great grandchild, Matthew Woods.

Mrs. Faulkenberry is survived by her children, Darlene (Eddie) Joyner of Shelbyville, TN, Bill Faulkenberry of Houston, TX, and Michael Ray (Anna) Faulkenberry of Chapel Hll, TN; 12 grandchildren, James Michael Young, Tiffany Rollins, Jennifer Evans, Charity Faulkenberry, Ashley Young, Ella Emberton, Rossi Faulkenberry, Justin Joyner, Carmelita Faulkenberry, Colby Faulkenberry, Joey Joyner, Courtney Faulkenberry; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Donald Ray Lopp of Lawrenceburg, TN; and sister, Linda Lopp Kucinskas of Elkmont, AL.

There will a graveside service at 3 PM on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Coleman Cemetery in Bedford County, TN.  Interment will follow at Coleman Cemetery.
